Dr. Veronica Mak Sau-Wa

Dr. Mak is Assistant Professor of Sociology at Hong Kong Shue Yan University. She has researched and published extensively on the politics of breast-feeding and motherhood in Hong Kong and China, on milk and soy milk, on digitalised health and health risks and on food safety and risk management and health and morality. She is a leading expert on the study of milk in China. Her volume on milk, science and the human body in China is being published by the University of Hawaii Press.
